DayZ Rules

General Rules

  • 1.1 Do not leave the server when you are engaged in combat, have recently been engaged in combat, or to avoid engaging in combat. This includes base raids.
  • 1.2 Do not log out in or around server events (Airdrops, King of the Hills etc) with the intention of logging back in to loot them when they are active.
  • 1.3 Hacking/cheating/exploiting of any kind will not be tolerated.
    • Including, but not limited to; Torso Glitching, Moon Walking/Jumping, etc.
  • 1.4 All trade agreements made with other players in a Safezone Trader must be honored.
  • 1.5 Real-world trading (the act of trading anything outside of DayZ for DayZ items or services) is forbidden.
  • 1.6 The use of alternate accounts is strictly prohibited. if you join with an alternate account it will be permanently banned.


Safezone Rules
The Trader Safezone distance is 500m from any green Trader marker.

  • 2.1 Do not go out of your way to engage in combat around the Safezone i.e. camping and/or loitering. 
  • 2.2 Do not tamper with or enter another player’s vehicle without their express permission whilst inside the Safezone.
  • 2.3 Do not enter the Safezone when you are engaged in combat, have recently been engaged in combat, or to avoid engaging in combat.
  • 2.4 Do not steal from another player whilst inside the Safezone. The only circumstances under which you can may take another player's items inside the Safezone is if they are inside a buried stash.
  • 2.5 Do not be disruptive whilst inside the Safezone. This includes activities such as mic spamming or generally being an annoyance.
  • 2.6 Do not follow other players out of the Safezone.
  • 2.7 Do not leave your vehicle inside of the Safezone whilst you are not there. Offending vehicles will be deleted without warning.

 

Base Raiding Rules

  • 3.1 Do not circumvent the territory flag system to place objects.
  • 3.2 Do not log out whilst inside of another player’s base.


Base Rules
These rules apply to all objects placed by a player. A breach of these rules will result in the offending object(s) deletion.
There is a radius surrounding every military & trader area that prevents you from placing objects. These can range anywhere from 10-1000m on military bases and 600-2000m on traders. Keep this in mind when planning a location to build.

  • 4.1 If your base is in a legal location but can see into a military, trader, or event (KOTH, Airdrop etc) area, do not use it to PvP.
  • 4.2 Do not block off any entrances into your base with immovable objects. “Immovable objects” can be defined as an item that cannot be destroyed or moved from the outside. (Most items that are not raidable with a sledgehammer or C4 are invulnerable to prevent griefing)
  • 4.3 Do not build floating objects that you would not be able to build in real life. An example of this would be building two floors out from a roof with no support, this would normally collapse. The only exception to this rule is water bases, though the foundation of the base must be touching the water
  • 4.4 All base buildables must be clearly visible/reachable, meaning you cannot place a territory flag or storage box for example inside a wall that cannot be seen or reached by another player.
  • 4.5 You are not allowed to build around an event location in order to prevent other players from accessing it. Additionally, you are not allowed to place items or build in an event location in order to make an unfair advantage for yourself while looting or capturing it.
  • 4.6 You are not allowed to 'stack' base buildables inside of each other. There must be a visible gap between kits that are being placed against other kits.
